Q: What is the difference
between your CCNA product and other CCNA study materials?
A: Our Viper CCNA Lab Guide is much easier to read and understand
than most other lab guides. Also, our kit comes bundled with real Cisco
equipment that you will use to get hands-on experience configuring the
hardware and software yourself. The equipment is yours to keep and practice
with for as long as you need.
Q: What previous training
experience does RC MicroTech have?
A: We have taught Information Technology training courses for
the University of Maryland, TechTransit, Computer Learning Centers, as well as private
tutoring and guest lectures for various computer networking topics.
We also have exam preparation experience for CompTIA A+ and Network+,
Cisco CCNA, CCNP, CCIP, and CCIE Written examinations.
Q: Will you be offering
other training materials?
A: Yes, our plan is offer other high-quality training materials
in 2012.
Q: Where do you ship
your product?
A: At this time we are shipping our product only within the United
States. However, we hope to ship internationally soon.
Q: How long does it
take for your lab kits to ship?
A: It takes us about 5 days to put together a CCNA kit. Then,
depending on where the shipment is going, it may take another 2-5 days
to reach you. Therefore, 10 business days is a reasonably expected wait
time. We use UPS, and we can rush delivery, but that will of course
cost more.
Q: Do I need any experience
with computer networking before using your Viper CCNA Lab Guide?
A: You do not need any previous experience. However, we strongly
recommend that you have at least read through a CCNA study guide such
as the Sybex guide written by Todd Lammle or the Cisco Press study guide.
For this reason, we include Todd Lammle's book with our bundle, so you
can use it as a reference.
Q:How long does it
take to prepare for the Cisco CCNA exam?
A: It varies, depending on the networking background of the individual.
If you have never had any previous network experience, expect to spend
at least three to six months preparing. If you try to rush through the
textbook and rush through the lab guide, you increase your risk of failing
because of poor preparation.
